On December 20th, 2008 Jean Salis and some persons of the AJBS visited the Museum. Thanks to David and Etienne a rendez vous was organised with the de Caters team to reunite Jean Salis and the Dabert. Thanks to Etienne and David.

Douglas A26 B Invader restoration

Pascal and Eric(s) working on the second engine

In 2005, the two engines of the Invader were laid down for restoration for static display. It means corrosion was cleaned and coats of protection were applied. But the engine was not maintained for fllight.From April, 21th, the team prepare to install back the first restored engine. Note the crane and energy supply unit are fromp 1940's vintage. On Apirl 28th, the engine and propeller are back mounted on the Invader More on

Arrival of the Mil Mi2 at Vissenaken
