Big show !
This week, we are looking outside our usual activities at the Museum. In the link section, you will find a link to the newsletters published by the Musée Régional de l'Air in Angers about the Cessna Bobcat (once OO-TIN). This newsletters (thx to Vincent for the tips) is published monthly and report the progresses on this project. A good way to communicate interests.
The Heritage days at Le Bourget were as usual amazing. The WW1 hall is now re-lifted and new lighting permit to see the artifacts with with another point of view. The new helicopter hall is also a great aesthetic achievement. The visit to the reserves in Dugny and to our friends in Memorial Flight were the occasion of good surprises as every time.
On the same week end, we go to the Sanicole airshow to see the Vulcan and the Red Bull aircraft. if the weather was typically Belgian, the show was for sure of an international level.
Please already book in your agenda November 12th 2009 : Next Museum special evening.
We added two nice videos about the Tiger Moth and a link to the last article about aircraft manufactured in Belgium by Jean-Pierre Decock.
Hoping to see you soon, Many happy landings and take care at gremlins.

In the magical setting of the Royal Museum of the Army, the exhibition shows how many authors have drawn inspiration from history and military techniques. In visiting the exhibition, the public will go through all the collections of the Museum. Visitors will discover original and amusing showcases of items of the collections and how they are reflected in the comic strips. The two dimensions of the comic strip are thus juxtaposed to the real world.
