Legerhelikopter maakt noodlanding nabij Lessive Posted: 13 Oct 2011 10:36 PM PDT Een helikopter van het Belgische leger heeft gisteren in de namiddag een noodlanding gemaakt nabij Lessive, in de provincie Namen. Het toestel was tijdens een oefening in contact gekomen met bomen. Er vielen geen gewonden. Volgens Olivier Sevrin, woordvoerder bij Defensie, is de schade aan het toestel bleef beperkt. Defensie begint een onderzoek om de oorzaken van het incident te bepalen.

The MS-406 of Wladyslaw Chciuk Posted: 11 Oct 2011 01:02 PM PDT The Museum du souvenir in Haut Wastia display the rudder of a Morane MS-406 (N° 948) shot down in May 1940 thanks to our friend Eric who discovered some years ago this unique piece of history. The pilot of this aircraft was Wladyslaw Chciuk who survived the crash and had a distinguish career flying with the Royal Air Force.
